liable for writing checks drawn on insufficient funds pursuant to Utah Code Ann. § 7-15-1 (1988). 1 We reverse. Appellant was employed as a secretary/bookkeeper for NAMCO Corporation from 1981 to 1982. As part of her assigned duties,
appellant, an authorized signatory, prepared and signed checks drawn upon the corporate accounts in payment of corporate obligations
at the direction of corporate officers. She had no interest, beneficial or otherwise, in the checking account, the funds in
the checking account, or the corporation.
